FIRST LEGO League logo The FIRST LEGO League (FLL), considered the "little league" of the FIRST Robotics Competition, is the result of a partnership between FIRST and the LEGO Group. FLL extends the FIRST concept of inspiring and celebrating science and technology to children aged 9 through 14, using real-world context and hands-on experimentation. Also new to Connecticut is the Junior FIRST LEGO League for ages 6-9. For more information about FLL and the 2007 theme and season schedule visit http://www.firstlegoleague.org/; for information about local events visit LocalCT-FLL.org.

FIRST Tech Challenge logo The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is an intermediate robotics competition targeted toward high-school aged students. It offers the traditional challenge of a FIRST competition but with a more accessible and affordable robotics kit. General information about the FTC program can be found on the FIRST website. For local information contact David Mellen, FTC Affiliate Partner, Mellen.D@K-O.org. Our Championship Tournament will be held March 7, 2009 at Kingswood-Oxford School, West Hartford, CT.

FIRST Robotics Competition logo The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an exciting, multinational competition that teams professionals and high-school aged people to solve an engineering design problem in an intense and competitive way, building 120 lb. robots. To learn more visit http://www.usfirst.org/ or contact Michael Sperber at msperber@usfirst.org. For local information visit our website: www.ctfirst.org/frc.
