Event Sponsorship
Event Sponsors are key sponsors of the various FIRST events and tournaments held throughout Connecticut.
Event sponsorship is targeted to a specific program event or tournament. These include:
- FIRST Robotics Competition Connecticut Regional
- The longest running and largest FIRST Robotics Competition Regional event in New England, hosting over 60 teams from throughout North America. Exceeding 3500 participants and spectators over the course of the three-day event.
- FIRST Tech Challenge Connecticut State Championship
- The Connecticut qualifying event for FIRST Tech Challenge teams from throughout the Northeast.
- FIRST LEGO® League Connecticut State Championship
- The premier FLL event in Connecticut. Over 50 FLL teams from throughout Connecticut vie for a spot at the Connecticut State Championship by participating in the many Local Qualifying Events held throughout the state.
- FIRST LEGO® League Local Qualifying Events
- FLL teams from throughout Connecticut participate in one or more Local Qualifying Events in the hopes of garnering a spot at the Connecticut State Championship. Five Local Qualifying Events are currently held throughout the state.
- Junior FIRST LEGO® League Connecticut State Expo
- Connecticut Jr.FLL teams have an opportunity to showcase their creations at the annual Connecticut State Expo.
